Saturday 21 April 2012: Wild Garlic

Round Bakewell we're very lucky to have a wealth of wild plants, fruit etc. to 'forage'.
One of my favourite wild plants is wild garlic and there is loads of it about.
You can always smell where it grows before you see it and there are whole banks of it.
Today I picked some and made some garlic and chilli pesto and new potatoes with the leaves chopped up and wilted over the top.
They are both delicious!
