Boy on a lead

Not quite sure what's going on here in Derby today.
What appears to be a family waiting to cross the road on closer inspection reveals a stranger scenario.
Notice the woman is using a very large mobile phone the size of which hasn't been seen for about 20 years.
Look closer at the little boy pressing the button and you'll see that he is attached to the woman by a lead, bit odd and slightly disconcerting that.
The little girl with her glasses looks great though.
A normal situation with slightly abnormal things going on.
