Saturday 21 April 2012: Showers in the Kilbrannan Sound
The piece of water between Kintyre and Arran is called the Kilbrannan Sound. Today, driving alongside it on the way down to Carradale, we could see sheets of rain showers moving down from time to time, but missing where we were. Occasonally they would be illuminated by shafts of sunlight, piercing through dark clouds.
A sensational landscape, as ever, and a great place to do the business of politics, as we were also campaigning for the re-election of Cllr Ann Horn for this ward on the 3rd of May.
