Friday 4 May 2012: The Cleat & Winch

So, after a morning at work, a half day to get the sails up. Quite gusty at times, but I happily worked away listening to the election results come in. And MrB got elected in Midlothian! The first Green - after all these years plugging away; how we used to laugh at his efforts. When he left oor employment a few years back I was honoured, so I was, to be asked to make a speech to mark the occasion. I gently mocked him in his desire to be the biggest fish in a small bowl; and the Midlothian Green Party was the smallest of small bowls. MrB was Chair, Parliamentary Candidate, and all the rest. We'll he's goat the last laff noo.
Talking of fish, we're trying to organise a nosh for Sunday; The Mussel Inn is front runner, but AJ is not so sure.
