Spur of the moment idea's really are good.....

It began after I blipped yesterday you see,went to collect Lucy from Mia's house and Mia ended up coming back with us for a sleepover as we had no school today as it was closed for teacher training,PLEASE GOD MAKE MORE OF THESE DAYS.... So anyway,kids brilliant last night,no trouble,no loudness... they got themselves their breakfasts this morning and I lay in bed reading... ANYHOOOOO Mrs Neurotic and I had decided to do something today pending the weather forecast... so,I proposed we went on an open top bus tour of our own home town as it is something we have never ever done !
It was fantastic,bloody chilly but it stayed dry... we walked from Claires into town,struck a deal with the bus driver to lessen the EXTORTIONATE cost (it was still expensive) and then off we went,we got out at Anne Hathaway's cottage,went to the cafe and sat outside with latte's and toasted teacakes,the girls ate the picnics we had cobbled together,ran around all feral.... and then we hopped on the next bus as a ticket lasts 24 hours.ANYWAYYYY the lovely bus driver say's they have an oil leak and my god it was a leak,it was pouring.... so we await the next bus but in the meantime the driver let's the girls play on this one as we have it to ourselves.....
New bus and off to Mary Arden's cottage in Wilmcote.....quick stop.. and off back to town.We were only out for about 3 and a half hours but it was really good !!!
Got rid of Mia at 7pm and ended up with Flora coming to stay with Eve and also grandson Jake has arrived to stay the night too !!!
I will need a week off.
