A Goddess

Iris brings the rain
Falling softly from the clouds
Tiny diamonds.

Small, delicate Iris were growing about thirty inches from the banks of upper Echo Lake. Soggy, squishy ground made it difficult to get the tripod stablized but it was worth a try, the flowers were so pretty.
