Friday 18 May 2012: Wild Iris Seed Pod

Today was bright and sunny, and so cold I couldn't stay outside for long, even though I was kitted up against the bitter southerly.

I love these brilliant berries as the pods open. The flower is here. The irises thrive in dark places under trees and bushes. These are under my big hedge.

One year ago: The moon above a hill, with cattle on the skyline and a seagull.
