Bumbling about

Finally, the sunshine! We'd more or less forgotten what it was like. So, I suspect, had the honey bees and bumble bees of Dirleton Castle Gardens, who were wandering drunkenly from flower to flower, taking their fill wherever they could find it.

Fine morning wandering around the Castle Gardens photographing flowers and bees, and then the Castle itself which offers much of interest, and then down to Yellowcraig for a quick blast of sea air, even though half of Edinburgh and the Lothians seemed to be there as well.

Now I must settle down to read more of my book on using the S100. Much progress has been made this week, but there is still much, much more to come.

You'll definitely want to check out the large bumble bee.

And here is a slideshow of today's photos.
