Wet!

They said rain and we got rain.  A whole 12mm apparently.  Just enough to wet things, tease the plants and add an extra burden to carry for the shield bugs.

And Andy Murray just lost in the tennis :(

On a brighter note however, kiwi Lydia Ko is now the world's number 1 women's golfer, a feat achieved at the remarkable age of just 17 years 283 days.  She takes the record from American golf superstar Tiger Woods, who first became men's golf world No 1 aged 21 years, 167 days.  That's quite some achievement.  I hope she's able (and allowed) to enjoy both this achievement and her youthfulness without the media or corporate world stealing it from her.  She certainly seems like a very grounded young woman at the moment.
