Nearing the Summit

OMG, just staggered in from the Mt Corrin Loop Walk - a five hour hike and some pretty incredible scenery. We have stomped through serious bog, wandered through apocalyptical forestry where all that remained were stumps, communed with sheep in green pastures, sauntered through dark forest the trees festooned with lichen, scrabbled up through boggy blond grass to the top of the mountain listening to larks, saw Jeremy Irons' castle glowing across the water, was nearly airborne at the very top, clinging on to the huge cairn, then skidded and teetered our way down. Rather intriguingly, just coming out off the moorland we found a half eaten pineapple!
A cup of tea and a bakewell tart and I'm now speechless. All go though for it's now chips and Arthouse - Stations of the Cross , German - I'll report back and catch up tomorrow. Think I better have a freshen up first.
Might be worth biggifying to get the full sweep!
