Wind blown daffs in the church yard

The walk around to the local church for the end of term service for school was made all the more fun by a  gusty wind whipping up from the river. The poor daffs in the church yard were being flattened. It wasn't cold, just very blowy.
The children sang sweetly and read nicely.
One of the teachers who left last term and is now teaching in Bexley came to visit (as, Like Fred his hols started on Friday).
It is now my holidays!
Some of Alex's friends called around after school and now I shall rustle up food for the pair of us. He has to stagger on until tomorrow afternoon.
