Wednesday 30 May 2012: Night sky

A hectic day of great meetings and rushing about. Lots of blue sky blips had to be rushed past.

Picked up Campbell from a day of sporting activity when he managed to miss the school bus home. By the time I got there from my meeting the poor soul was sitting on a wall looking like he'd just come back from along trek through the sahara. As well as playing rounders, hockey, lacrosse and other things I can't remember - then missing the bus and having to sit around waiting for his mother to bother to turn up - he'd got slightly sunburnt, had forgotten his dinner money and hadn't had anything to eat all day except for a couple of wooly sweets he found in his pocket.

Once home he stuffed his face with fruit whilst we made a mountain of pasta. Once he demolished that he made a miraculous recovery and spent the evening running around the garden.

When I finally did get around to lifting the camera it was only to stick it out of the window and point it at the night sky.
