Monday 30 May 2011: Intensity

I confess I've bumped the exposure and contrast of the photograph a peedie bit but really, these colours are pretty much as nature paints them in these isles.

I dashed up to Kirkwall this morning to pick up a parcel for a job. Only to find the post office closed for a bank holiday. EH? No one here apart from the banks and the PO are on holiday. Obviously they forgot to tell us we had the day off.
