A RELAXING SCENE

seen in a garden at the Weser promenade.
Piet Hein and I walked together downhill. He to get a prescription for his pills and I enjoyed the company of the ducks in and about the river.
The weather not so sunny anymore, but I loved to be in the open air and watch the amazing communication of the ducks and their movements.
Suddenly there is a rumour, let's fly, or why don't we walk over the stones to the little field where the short grass is heavenly?
Piet Hein had found out that he carried no cell phone, but enevertheless we bumped into each other in the main street.
That little our town is.
Tonight we'll celebrate the 50th birthday of a dutch friend, who has emigrated a couple of years ago to this nice place with his family.

My haiku:

See that cake? Don't eat
It is for celebration'
Of a happy life.

Do you see, Mikeder, there is a cake, but unfortunately made of stone.

And the proverb:

Every cake hath its make.

1641 Ferguson, 94.
