racing: the heron or...

the heron must've been - in the mood for - a challenge as - i've never seen it - race a train before - it might be difficult to tell - but that indeed is - a train in the background - it gave me a good giggle - and it was a nobrainer - for choosing which shot - i would have to post - today although there were - several vying for attention - i made it out to my - little lake to check - on the geese and - their eggs - they survived the recent - snow storm and cold temperature drop - just fine proving nature - can fend for itself - despite my own nervousness - about them being okay - so with the sun shining - and major run off today - everything is back on course - with springtime adventures making for...
