Parting shot

A happy couple of hours chasing trout for hpx.

One landed and released, another couple of touches and a big smack. But it is autumn and next time I won't wear running shorts under my waders. It was cold.

It was just the couple of hours I needed to clear my head and take me to my happy place.

Just before I waded through the last braid to the river bank, I stopped to watch the light on the water.

Perfect.
