ARASCHNIA LEVANA

in spring dress.
A lazy vacation day. In the morning sitting in easy chairs outside,
Deeply breathing, enjoying the warm sunshine.
After lunch we walked not far at all. Our street, the one that continues and back, then one slowly going down, then with a sharp curve the one that goes towards the Weser. At the end is a nice bench where we sat.
From there we entered the lowest street of our hill. And from there straight back home.
We looked in every garden, marvelled at all the cheerful colours of the flowers, the blossoms and the fairy tale appearing of the loveliest green leaves of the year.
Butterflies and other insects accompanied us. And the one that I admired mostly was the Araschnia.

My haiku:

If the yellow ones
Are your and mine favourites
Let us land on these

And the proverb:

As yellow as a paigle.

(paigle = cowslip)
