A little oasis

This little picturesque spot is bang in the middle of Mesnes (pronounced Mains!) Park which is bang smack in the middle of Wigan!

I have blipped other parts of the park before, but until now, hadn't realised that this little duck pond existed, tucked away behind the trees.

Hooray hub had a good nights sleep finally! He feels better for it, and is even considering coming to the quiz tonight......I've been back to the ey hospital with youngest this afternoon and his pressure is up to 10 now, so they are happy. Next visit not for 3 weeks now :-)

It's our wedding anniversary today, 21 years.......we always get each other a card, and bizarrely we both wrote, almost word for word, the same thing, probably why we are a good match :-)

Weather permitting, we might go out somewhere tomorrow all being well!
