Dolly's Day

SQUIRREL + BOURBON BISCUIT

Today was a half day excursion to Oulton Broad and then Southwold.

We didn't spend long at Oulton Broad - not really much there. Whilst walking around the park this little squirrel approached us ( me and Norman that is ) and Norman rummaged around in his bag and found a pack of bourbon biscuits. The little squirrel took one biscuit and ran up the nearest tree and started tucking in.

Then we went off to Southwold which is a lovely village on the coast. There are lots of brightly painted beach huts.

Another evening meal and another evening walk with Norman. No entertainment in the hotel but the coach driver had organised a trip to a local Music Hall evening. I didn't want to go but I encouraged Norman to " put his name down ". He was glad he did as apparently he had a great time. He was volunteered to go up on stage to be " the stooge " for the comedian and at breakfast next day everyone was saying what a laugh it had been. Norman was basking in glory. So pleased he had enjoyed himself.
