Fresh Beauty

Last year I bought some dark purple aquilegias (in flower) from a local garden centre - this year they have flowered again (amazingly) but the flowers are now mixed purples, pinks and whites! I'm not quite sure how this has happened!

This white flower sits quite happily next to a purple one on the same plant - I think it looks like a delicate little cup.
