Village Jubilee Party

A friend was organising the meal for 70 children of her village (Hammerwich - where the Staffordshire Hoard was found) and I offered to go along to help.

The afternoon was a huge success. The rain was kind and kept away. The first event was a dancing display (hence the pompom blip) and the sandwiches and cakes and balloons etc went down a storm.

Fancy dress, tombola - all the usual.

We certainly know how to make the most of a village party.
