All ready for the next stage...

We will now have an interlude whilst we decide on paving/flagging...
We are really chuffed that this is the concrete base underneath. It is very sound and just needs scrubbing up and a few bits modifying before we can lay the paving. We were dreading a big (and costly) ground preparation before we could do that but luckily there won't be the problem at all.
The walls are all repaired and repainted and it is looking lots better already!
As it is half term we will have time to look for the paving we want.
It should be far more robust than wood and we are thinking we can build in a barbecue area (underneath that little window there to the left)

Other news - I got an 'outstanding' judgement from my line manager who observed my first lesson this morning. Very cheering to know I'm getting it right!
Alex sat the first paper of his Latin GCSE - he says it went OK.
