Tuesday 5 June 2012: Dead Tree
This is an old dead tree which stands by the side of the gorge just as our track comes round the hill at Feorlean.
I always think of it as Victorian - a prop for a gothic story.
As the weather changed this afternoon I went to cut some branches from young birch which were begining to brush the vehicles as they went past.
It also seemed a good time to blip this remarkable shape which has remained standing through many gales but will not last for ever.
