Beinn Bhreagh

This is the estate of Alexander Graham Bell and his wife Mabel ...... as you probably know the Bells lived in Baddeck for many many years, it's where he made many of his discoveries.  It was very interesting to get this close to the over 800 acres - which still houses many of the decedents.   No one lives in the big house, and it is completely private, only accessible to family.

Randy and Max are visiting for the weekend so we decided it was time to  take the Ameoba Sailing Tour  around Baddeck.  It was a perfectly calm day so that was good for me, cos i ain't no sailor - i like being beside the water, swimming in the water, but not so keen on the sailing way out into the deeper parts!!!
