Doormat fungi

Hmmm - a funny ol' day. It started unbelievably warm - almost shirt sleeves kind of warm but by the afternoon the wind had picked up and the temperatures dropped.

Maybe it's these crazy fluctuations in the weather that have the fungi spores all confused. Found this little family growing in my door mat! Just goes to show how wet it's been and how little sun gets as far as my back door to dry it out.

Another busy day - but that was Monday.
