High-Rise Living

Backblipped for 31st May

As an extra to the daytime tour we were offered a trip round Bressay and Noss on the Dunter III. The high sandstone cliffs are eroded in layers and holes, providing ideal ledges for nesting birds. The black dots, barely visible (even in large), are guillemots which are increasingly forced onto higher levels by the increase in the gannet population.
