Babies!

My last fortnights blips have mostly focussed on ice and frost.  So it was a real surprise today to hear that a friend has lambs.  A dozen  of them already!

I ducked out of work at lunch time to buy some chook food from her and while I was there I asked about a rumour I'd heard that she had lambs already.  When she confirmed it, I just had to invite myself round to her place to photograph them.

I went around immediately as I knew there'd be no light left by the time I got away from work tonight.  

This pair of twins and their Mum were enjoying the mid-afternoon sun.  It was the first we've had in a while so it was good to see them making the most of it.
