Dead head

There was no frost this morning so I was a bit stuck for a blip.  Then I remembered that it is Flower Friday (thanks Biker Bear) so I went looking for a flower.

Hmmm, not much luck there at this time of year.  In the end I settled for a dead dahlia, but held it against today's surprisingly blue sky to give it 'life'.
