Facing Sunset

During our last evening in Ocean Springs, we went to the beach at sunset. We made it there early, about an hour before the sun went down, and spent a while just goofing off and chilling. LM ran around throwing sand into the air, I ran around taking pictures, and Dziadek took a nap. Here is Babcia Irena catching some rays.

Sunsets are my favorite part of being around water. There is something magical yet very comforting about the predicable act of sun going down only to come up again the following morning. It captures our collective imagination, yet does not get tiresome or cheesy.
