Thursday 14 June 2012: A different view
The sun shone all morning, with not a cloud in the sky, while I worked and waited in for my parcel that arrived just after lunch. Then the sky clouded over....in the evening on the way back from the garden the sun reappeared and I caught a few minutes of it on the old part of the village, showing how it was built in a defensive position on a hill in a bend in the river. There is evidence that there has been a village here for a thousand years and there was probably a Celtic settlement here long before that.
The Mac has arrived and seems amazing and quite easy to use, although I have just failed to upload my blip with it....never mind, I'll work on that.
