Old style seaside

We had to go to Agde this morning anyway, so we went on to the sea and found it rougher than we usually see the Mediterranean, certainly in June. One brave man was swimming but otherwise the beach was empty and the lifeguards were having an easy day. We had coffee and delicious pastries by the beach at a new Tunisian café. Among the 1960s concrete boxes of the new resort, there are some older buildings like this one, showing what Le Grau d'Agde was like before, as they fade in the sun. It's my favourite of the seaside resorts in this area because it's a proper town with a market, shops and restaurants that have some life in them all year round.
