Smoke in the morning

As I took the ferry to work this morning, actually a class on safely deescalating students who are exhibiting out of control behavior, I was saddened to see the heavy layer of smoke that blankets Washington and Oregon, Montana and Idaho from the thousands of acres on fire. We are so dry here, with little moisture in sight and it is devastating families and crops on the west coast. Prayers would be lovely, if you are inclined that way, for the safety of those battling the blazes and the people who have lost everything. Spare rain would be wonderful too!! There are a few other photos in the extras if you have time to peek. One is of Mt. Rainier shrouded in smoke. x
