An evening in Levis's Bar

The pace continues! Coffee and catch up with friends this morning then Himself had to wrestle with the water heater element which had packed up. No mean feat getting it out, finding a replacement and then putting the new one back in. He was wrecked  and declined Shaaamie and Ali's offer to go off to Ballydehob to see Colum Sands - a musican and story teller, fresh off the boat from Cape Clear Storytelling festival.. I decided to go on the spur of the moment. What a great evening. Levis' was packed. It's a small traditional pub and the artists now perform begind the counter which used to sell a fine array og necessary items - everything from cornflakes to oxtail soup to Robin starch. We squeezed onto benches and in corners and were treated to a wonderfully wry and gentle look on life through music and words. Here he is in action
Can't linger - the sun is shining and we're off for a walk along the ridge with Shaaamie and Ali.
My extra is a young woman in the audience, she had such a rapt expression and was enjoying herself so much.
