A Little Elfin Magic

What a great night tonight was.

Each year one of our classes puts on a play as a fundraiser for their camp.  It is traditionally on the last Thursday of Term 3, so tonight was the night.

Each year I say that the night's performance was the best yet.  They certainly set next year's group a hard task to do as well.

Here we have the cast of Santa's elves tramping through the snow and ice to get to the grinches cave to steal back all the presents he has stolen over the years!  Not because they are good and kind of course, but because they partied too hard and slept too long and don't have enough presents ready for Santa.

We are most fortunate to have on our staff an actor who has taught some of the kids to set up and use stage lighting.  It certainly adds an extra little kick to the performance.

A wonderful show from a group of students (and their teacher) that will live on in our memories (poor grammar, but the show, the kids and the teacher will all be remembered!).
