Saturday 23 June 2012: Surveying The Flood!
The Englishman's home is his castle! So that's why ours has a moat!
The flood water had risen since last night and was now covering all the garden and running out onto the road. I went to work and warned our evening guest to bring wellies. By the time I got home the path was clear so that saved finding wellies for The Mother.
This is Mrs Borage looking out over the scene and wondering why her two escape plans to sunny Edinburgh had failed! Tuesday may be her lucky day!
