Workride # 10 Upper Bents Lane

I'm very much enjoying the BBC historical series 'The Celts' just now.  They were clearly a strange mix of incredible creativity and horrible brutality.  However the programme has a second attraction - the unrequited relationship between its wonderful presenters, Drs Alice Roberts and Neil Oliver.  Clever, lovely Alice, there she is standing wistfully on some ancient hilltop fort looking out into the distance over the plains where Celts battled with Romans, her earnest narrative painting a picture for us of 387BC whilst over in Burgundy, Neil gives his rugged profile and flowing gorgeous locks (and his ever changing buff collection) to the camera as he strides purposefully down a French lane, his distinctive Renfrew accent emphasising the gladiatorial might of the Celtic leader, Vercingetorix (was he a mate of Asterix?).  These two giants of documentary complete each other's sentences effortlessly but seem never destined to be on the same tv screen together........

Meanwhile back on Wendy's planet, the work ride continues.  My blip is in some ways a familiar one as it includes the oft blipped viaduct.  This is taken close to the end of the lane so, after the half term break, I will be once more venturing out into the street lights and traffic which will mean the blips will be less difficult to light but more dangerous to set up!  The starry road to the top right leads up to the village of Cullingworth.

ps on a different note, is anyone having problems with their blips connecting to FB?  Mine have stopped connecting and old ones have disappeared!
