Armed Forces Day

It wasn't near as full on a military event through the streets of Alloa as last year's event, but it drew out the worthies, the heid-high-yins and a good supportive crowd outside the Town Hall nonetheless

It was also the first opportunity for local boy done good and Lord Lieutenant of Clackmannanshire, Sir George Reid to show off his shiny new knighthood. He's done not too bad at all for a lad from Dodge.

Got back home on the bike just before the worst of the inevitable rain started and spent an hour or so trying to fit a bike rack to the car (instructions said fifteen minutes but that obviously meant in the dry).

Now nicely warmed up again after Hez and her beau cooked a surprisingly good curry. Not surprising because it was edible, more because it sounded like there was a full on Gordon Ramsay shouting match going on. I have no idea where she gets that from.
