Thursday 28 June 2012: Brrrrrrrrrrr!!

Each year we invite students to challenge themselves to participate in our mid-winter dip and each year we're surprised by the number who students who accept the challenge. This year we have some forty-something and 2 staff members too :) (not me - had to take some photos you see . . . . !!)

So, despite the beautiful sunshine and nice looking blue-ish water whihc suggested a hot summer scene, the water was about 9 degrees centrigrade and the look on the faces was more a 'get-me-outta-here . . . . . .quick!!' look.

Brave souls - great stuff :)
