An “awesome” day!

Awesome was a word used several times in the speeches at the official opening of Lincoln UTC today. We were invited as special guests (Mum & Dad are always special) and had an interesting time learning more about the background development of the college. ( R is tucked behind the young lady with the long curly hair)

The day started early, as B took P to the rail station to start his journey back to Saudi. The tilers arrived by 9am to finish off the job and are still here at almost 6pm!!!

The sun shone on the event today, as shown in the picture. So to make the most of it, I quickly changed  out of posh clothes when we got back home and spent a couple of hours filling some empty spaces in the garden and planting up the tubs with bulbs.
