IN THE MIDDLE

The sky today changed constantly, sometimes the blue was dominating, then enormous white clouds.
We both read our books in the morning, and after lunch, after some deliberation, we drove to the Forellenhof, to start our walk there.
The same that we had done weeks, perhaps months ago, but in the other direction.
Now the sun kept her distance mostly. The views over the hills did suffer from that, but we loved the exercise. Not many benches along the path, only one to tell the truth, but on a pile of cut down trees one can rest for a moment too.
Our walk went mainly over the plain, and only one small part through the forest. We did not see deer or hares. But I like the sheep and lamb scene.

My haiku:

Keep safe as you can
Between us and hopefully
No one will hurt us

And the proverb:

An idle head is a box for the wind.
