High church.

As soon as I woke up this morning, I had a migraine.  I took my tablets immediately, and it passed within  an hour, which is just as well, because it was my day to volunteer at the church. For the first half an hour, we didn't get any visitors, and then we had a nice lady and gentleman, who had come down for the day, from Cardiff.  Kevin showed them around, and took them up to the belfry. While he was gone, four young people and a child, came in, sat at the front, and the small child was running riot. She went up to the pulpit, and then one of the boys went out the vestry. Luckily, Kevin reappeared, and I motioned to him, what they were doing. He went to watch, and  not long afterwards they left.  A few minutes later, a lady came in, and Kevin knew her, She sat and had a cup of tea with us, and Kevin mentioned that yesterday, they had been discussing what questions are asked at an interview. The ladies name was Joanna, and she said that she went to apply for a teaching post, and there were three people interviewing her. They had her application form in front of them, and she had said that one of her hobbies was walking. As the interview was drawing to a close, they asked her,Where do you like to walk? and she replied, around Marks & Spencer. Apparently, they all burst  out laughing, and   strangely enough, she didn't get the job. We had a few other visitors, and the morning flew by. J met me, and we went to Sainsbury's to stock up  on our  wine, as they had 25% off, if you bought six bottles. Now that was an offer you couldn't refuse! Hope you all have a good weekend.
