Floral Explosion

Last day of the working week for me. Hasn't been the best week at work, mostly dull and boring which isn't so good really when you think how much work we have piling up that needs doing.

I took a few pictures on the way into work and on the way out, none were very exciting. At home I did some garden jobs and tried again with a few more pictures. None were great but this one is interesting enough. It's a nice blue flower and when it's all in bloom and in bright light it's an impressive display. At the moment only a handful of flower heads have opened - with luck some sunshine over the weekend may wake it up.
