AT BRÜGGEFELD

We drove in the afternoon to the Forellenhof at Brüggefeld, a very small settlement. From there one can walk into the Solling forest, or over the large fields moving slowly down to the Weser. We did choose for the second option,
in the gardenfield of one of the farms we saw the two horses under the blossom trees. Our path went in the open field and as Piet Hein rightly noticed, it really seemed a ice-skate tour. But, nevertheless we continued and only when we reached the edge of the forest and the sun came out too, it felt so much nicer.
The extra photo shows the view we had at some point, the Deisselberg and beyond, where our walks bring us too.
Nearly at the end of our walk we sat on a immensely old bench, in the warm sunshine. My hands, however, kept cold.
Tonight I will have a rest, and I promise to catch up tomorrow.

My haiku:

In tranquility
I almost feel jealous
The horses eat their meal

And the proverb:

An Argus abroad and a mole at home.

(Argus, in fable, had 100 eyes)
