Crossing the Circle

Yesterday's write-up finished with the words: ' ... a normal dip in the pool'. Anything but!!!

At last we had our Arctic Circle Ceremony. In blazing sunshine, and just a little bit South of the Line itself (which we crossed about 1am), King Neptune came aboard with buckets of ice and a big ladle. Good fun was had by all. Along with about 50 other volunteers/victims, we both ended up in the pool. Officially, or so it appears, we are both now 'Bluenoses'!!
