Thursday 2 August 2012: Dun Caan
We've had another fantastic day today. Best weather of the week so we took the decision to head for the Isle of Raasay via the ferry from Sconser. Once on Raasay we took the track from Inverarish across the moor to Loch Na Mna where we stopped for lunch (see photo) and to enjoy the beautiful view. We also spotted two red throated divers on the loch.
After lunch we climbed the slopes of Dun Caan and gradually the 360 degree panoramic view appeared, fabulous! My blip shows Helen and Verity on top of Dun Caan with Loch Na Mna below and the Cuillins on Skye in the background.
