Sunday 25 March 2007: The nature of addiction

I have always thought my addictions are nothing out of the ordinary. I've never smoked and my alcohol consumption has dwindled to a couple of glasses of wine at the weekend (not deliberate, just seems to be the way it has gone) and I'm too lazy to become a workaholic.

I do however have a major coffee habit and the Sunday morning ritual of grinding beans and putting this wonderful little pot on the stove to gurgle away is a real guilty pleasure. Beyond that the only thing approaching a habit is a love of dark bitter chocolate and posh crisps.

THEN Blipland happened!! Only a few weeks but it has taken over my life. I can't stop. I spend the day thinking about what to photograph? What to write? What's everyone else doing today? Have I missed anyone's recent entries? I can't go to bed until I have looked as many as possible and then I have to catch up with tracked replies.

But you know what? It's fun.

Thanks blippers! You're almost as good as a double espresso!
