Tree-mendous

Not. I'm camera-less. Well, I wasn't on Friday night because I nabbed the hosts' camera (a Nikon D40) and took photos of the party that they threw. Their tree, not mine!

I think they'd have noticed if I swapped it for mine though, the one with the jammed lens. Something went wrong last Sunday and it needs to go to the camera hospital to be fixed. The lens will not budge and the camera doesn't auto-focus. I can't do anything about it until I return to the UK though - I need the warranty slip - I wonder where I've put that...

Had a busy week - the temperature has dropped again and it's frrrr-eezing. Still waiting for the white stuff to arrive.

Oh and I've got my next posting... Somewhere different to say the least!
