Sunday 12 August 2012: Undiscovered - by us, until now
We headed off early this morning to somewhere we previously hadn't discovered and which we should have discovered - a truly glorious rocky and sandy beach in the vicinity of Bass Rock and Tantallon Castle. We caught the beach almost empty, as well as perhaps the best of the light. Do see the light large to catch the details on the horizon.
Less pleasant, heading back into Edinburgh, was catching the Hibs/Hearts derby football traffic. Can't we just cancel the football season and have Olympics all the time instead?
I'll go for one last festival of viewing this evening, and then it's back to real life.
