A Different Play

Getting close to midnight so time to pack up and head home.

A serious back blip today as I have been so busy.

Had a great evening. Work night out to see some comedy on the Fringe.

And by that I mean real Fringe.

Six Acts each pitching their talents at an audience that has seen it all. That is the terror of the Fringe for newcomers.

Overall, pretty good. One was okay. One was terrible. Comedy about white supremecy versus black power requires a certain finesse and flair. Neither were shown by this act. It was akin to watching somebody break dance across a mine field. Not good.

After that things got worse. Watching a woman drown in a colostomy bag was not entertaining but cringe worthy. Try a different career?

Then a guy came on and announced that he was going to read us War and Peace.

Oh God no.

But wait, he was actually quite good. We laughed. It was silly. It was well delivered. It was well thought.

It was dynamicaly different.

We would never had seen an act like this anywhere else other than the Edinburgh Fringe.

Fantastic!

After that we got a guy being mugged by invisble horeses. Yes, believe me we did. And entertaining it was too.

Then a guy from London with great patter and presence. I do hope he goes on to big things.

Finally, a gangsta rap come hip hop come what? Really fast, well thought out. on the nose funny.

I can't remember seeing a Moose but we were very amused. Pure, real Finge.
