Life's Little Moments

You don't need to speak "bird" to figure out that a heated conversation was occurring here.

An unexpected snow shower late this afternoon brought out all the birds to the feeders, including at least 30 dark-eyed juncos.  Tempers ran hot and words were exchanged ... thank goodness no children were present!  The lead-up photo is HERE on Flickr, taken before things took a decided turn for the worse.  And don't look at either too closely as both were taken through the window and at a high ISO.

Actually, I was happy when I looked out and saw the snow falling because, up to that point, I really didn't have anything remotely worth blipping.  Plus, now the slushy, icy mess from yesterday is covered with about 3/4 inch of light, powdery white stuff!

And only one more day left before we say goodbye to 2016.  I find myself hoping that the world gets through the next few days without any acts of terrorism or senseless violence - doesn't seem too much to ask, does it?

Keep well, people.
